Threat management combines identifying, assessing and managing individuals and situations where there is a risk of violence. Tragedies occur every day, and those nearby are interviewed on the news: "He seemed like such a quiet guy", "We never thought it would happen here/to us" and "She told me last week that she was at the end of her rope, but..." We can assist with identifying signals that forewarn of a potential act of violence.
